WHAT IS THE CHAMPIONS FOR CHARITY?

The Lexus Champions for Charity series is one of the amateur golf and philanthropic programs in the U.S.

Lexus Created the series in 1989 to raise money for charity.  Lexus dealers are encouraged to participate in the Champions for Charity program. Each Dealer may choose a charity to partner with for the series. Since 1989 more than $95 million has been raised for various local charities.

Tickets are $50 each or $100 for 3 tickets
A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold!

  • December 5 - 8, 2007

Location:

  • Pebble Beach Resorts, Pebble Beach, CA
  • Pebble Golf Links
  • The Links at Spanish Bay
  • Spyglass Hill Golf-Course

Tournament Format:

  • 54 - hole event, three days of play, 18 holes/day
  • Two - person best ball, amateurs only
  • All players must have verified handicaps and must present handicap cards at tournament registration; 80% of handicap will be used.                                    

Prize Structure:
$100,00 Charity Purse

  •  $70,000 divided between 1st through 10th place NET finishes' charities
  • $30,000 divided between 1st through 5th place GROSS finishes' charities
  • Participants will compete for additional prizes for low net and gross scores
  • Daily hole-in-one opportunities to win Lexus automobiles       

 

Hospitality Package:
  • Includes transportation between the Monterey Peninsula Airport or San Jose International Airport and Pebble Beach Resorts, as well as transportation between Pebble Beach Resorts and the tournament sites.
  • Spouse/guest package available at additional cost
  • Participants are responsible for own airfare and accommodations unless otherwise arranged through the local charity tournament. The host hotel at Pebble Beach Resorts for the Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship for Charity National Champions will be The Inn at Spanish Bay (All arrangements at The Inn at Spanish Bay must be made through a Lexus Champions for Charity representative.
